We believe that the days of the formal workshop for
experienced sales people are over. When you consider the cost and disruption
of taking a whole team out of the field for a day or even for a series of
days you can see that it is not cost effective.
When you consider that no matter where you "pitch" the level of the
workshop, two thirds of the attendees will not find it relevant you can
see that it is also counter productive. Even the third who find it helpful
will typically go back into the field and forget it.
