I am one of the busy poor - help!

When we first met Andy he was what we call one of the busy poor.

In theory he ran his own business but in practice the business ran him. It seemed he was at the bottom of the pecking order with customers, staff, the government and even suppliers all above him, and he did not even have a healthy dividend to take home after working long hours.

He was like many business people who are very good at what they go into business for but not very experienced or confident in the "business of business".

For him this meant long nights catching up on admin and a compulsion to over-deliver on work in case anyone held it against him. He often found himself reducing prices and adding additional services without getting recompensed for it.

He needed a way to feel comfortable about business. He needed the strength to know that he was offering a good service and he should be fairly recompensed for it and he needed a structure which enabled him to enjoy his life - both inside and outside of the business so he could focus on doing the things which he enjoyed doing.

We helped him to create that structure. He more than doubled his income from the business so he stopped being poor and over a time managed to take control of his hours so that he stopped being too busy as well - or at least when he was busy he was doing what he loved and that was a great outcome for him.

If you would like to talk to Andy please contact us and we will put you in touch.
